With a mission to strengthen the field of Higher Education, Government of Gujarat established Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat (KCG). One of the strategic priorities of KCG has been strengthening Research and Innovation in institutions of higher education in Gujarat & to create the most supportive environment possible so that researchers, innovators and learners can do what they do best — advance understanding and apply new knowledge.
The aim of this workshop is to make the Faculties and Research Scholars aware about the recent trends in Research, Research Methodology and Research documentation.
With a view to improve research output of faculties, 47 three days workshops covering 32 higher education districts and 37 universities with 5000 participants were organized. 4000 research proposals have been prepared by the participants with the help of their respective resource persons
To enhance the skill of research methodology, 22 One-Week Short-Term Course in various subjects with 896 participants were organized. 535 research proposals have been prepared by the participants with the help of their respective resource persons.
